Step-by-step

- Compare before/after field counts and download the cleaned files.

Frequently asked questions
What metadata is shown?
Only tags that can be extracted from the selected file are listed. Empty groups are hidden, and no placeholder fields are invented.
What metadata is removed?
Re-encoding through the canvas drops EXIF, IPTC, XMP, GPS, and similar embedded tags. After cleaning, the tool re-scans the new file so the before/after counts reflect what was actually removed.
Are files uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser on this device.
Will my image look different?
JPG and WebP use lossy quality settings, so there can be a tiny visual change. PNG stays lossless. Dimensions stay the same.
