Does my document leave the browser?

Will formatting match Microsoft Word exactly?

No. This is a practical text-and-image conversion: headings, paragraphs, lists, and embedded images are preserved where possible. Complex layouts, tables, and advanced styles are simplified.

Can I convert old .doc files?

Only .docx (Office Open XML) is supported. Save legacy .doc files as .docx in Word first.

What about scanned PDFs?

PDF → Word needs extractable text. Image-only scans will produce little or no content unless OCR is run elsewhere first.
